We had a full night at Djuma waterhole with a Birmingham Male, 
5 Lioness's and 8 cubs.
 Lots of sleep time, then great play time.
 Even the adults got in on the running and playing.
 Our Birmingham male woke up quite grumpy.
 Gave some LOUD roars and did not like the little one tugging on his tail.

every few minutes to return to the waterhole.
They look around. Contact Call
and then move off only to return again

Second Cub Sighting

The 6 Cubs return to the waterhole.
We do not see any of the Adult Females but one of the 
Birmingham Males is roaring.
Cubs rested up in the thicket for a few minutes and then gone.

All 5 Nkuhuma Lioness's and 1 BB
 attend the waterhole for a drink.
No cubs seen but a guide vehicle that showed up said to his guests
 that he can hear the cubs in the drainage line.

 Nchila (Born 2014)
Spot Pattern:4:5 Father thought to be Anderson Male 
Nchila was born in Jan/Feb 2014. Nchila means tail. Anderson Male Leopard is thought to be her father and Nsele Female Leopard is her mother. Here's a recent photo of Nsele's daughter. Photo taken by Vernon Cresswell in Buffelshoek - August 2016. She has a 4:5 spot pattern for identification purposes.

 Aug 31- Djuma Waterhole- 09:00 p.m CAT- Nkuhuma Lioness arrives for a drink
She had  a very very long drink. Approximately 10 minutes drinking continuously.

Male Lion moves quickly past the waterhole without stopping.
(Picture is poor) but the SOUNDS are amazing!
