This morning we have as our guides and on Camera -
James and Bryan
Sam and Jeandre
Jamie on a bush walk and Dave on camera and Stefan as security lookout.
We start with Sam and we see in the dim morning a few zebra.
Over to Sam who is carefully creeping around the area where Karula had her kill high up in a tree. The remains of the Male Impala is still located in the tree on the branch.
Sam doesn't think Karula is with her kill and perhaps has moved off.
THERE SHE IS!! She was right here the entire time just laying down on the grass close to the tree where her kill is located.

These harvester termites are not the termites that build the enormous mounds found in this area. These Termites live under bark of branches and will have to take cover soon as the sun warms up.

Visitors are more Interested In James and Bryan |
James telling us how funny it is when people on guide vehicles stare at James in his little vehicle with a HUGE camera on the back instead of looking at a giant bull Elephant.
James talking about going on as safari and how importantly vital it is to bring a pair of binoculars. Your naked eye is wonderful for the big stuff like Lions and Leopards but for the birds or insects and flowers you really need a set of Binoculars.
And James also suggests a warm coat.
Sam has a type of Dung Beetle to show us
James tells us the story of this amazing Fig Tree. The video tells the story

This fig tree is uncommon in this area of Djuma. It is living in a dead Leadwood Tree. The seed from inside a fig passed through the gut of perhaps a bird and it's seed lodged inself in the branch of this tree and grew. This tree is perhaps 4 decades old now.
James came across about 20 mongoose and Bryan being most excellent with mimicry duplicated the chirping sound of the mongoose which brought them right close to the vehicle. They were not nervous at all. Very inquisitive and relaxed
