Sunrise Safari- July 22, 2016 --LIVE from Rwanda- WE gives us Gorillas!!

Brent will be Live from Rwanda.
And as usual we will have our presenters in Djuma, Arathusa and Cheetah Plains as well.
This is going to be groundbreaking exciting stuff!!  Buckle up everyone!!

 Graham Wallington (Producer of SafariLive) will be operating the Camera with Brent.

 Few short nervous minutes with Technical difficulty screen.  Now we are live with Stefan for a greeting and then over to Jamie.

We will be patching over to Brent after approximately 30 minutes.

Jamie is heading to check out the little Lion Cubs

Over to Stefan with an amazing Sunrise

 Good Morning Stefan

 Briefly over to Stefan with a small Duiker who quickly ran away.

We also hear Lions roaring. Stefan has called it in on the  game drive channel.

Jamie is following up for the Lions on Twin Dam Road.  She says it is the coldest road in the area.

Jamie has not seen any Lions yet.
Go Away Birds (Grey Lourie) 

 Amazing looking Moth found it's way into Jamie's vehicle.

 Jamie is getting out of the vehicle and carefully putting the moth on the bark of a tree where he will blend right in

 Over to Stefan at the waterhole.

Most of them are pregnant now and will be giving Birth around the end of November so there will be lots of Impala Babies running around

 I have sound now on Youtube and getting screen shots from Ustream.
Jamie said as soon as they get signal from Brent, they will go live to him right away and we need to remember it is in the middle of the Rainforest.

 This is very unfortunate that Ustream has no sound still.
I am going to RE record the section with Youtube and attempt to splice it all together to get one single video file to upload to you tube.
Ustream  allows better quality of video which is why I prefer it.. but I will do what I can.

ok. I have given up on Ustream and started a brand new recording on Youtube so it will be complete (unfortunately- when we have gremlins- so will you)

1 hour left of Drive and still no signal from Brent in Rwanda.

I  apologise for this blog being so blocky etc.. Many Gremlins.. video with no sound etc.

 With Stefan who tells us tracks of Karula have moved into Torchwood.

UPDATE: Gorilla segment is not cancelled. They have had to walk further into the jungle and still have to do a test signal. Will go live as soon as they can

Shadow was at the Arathusa Lodge last night.
She is going to go take a look.

Back with Stefan who was still looking for those Male Lions that were roaring.

That ends our sunrise Drive this morning.
Signal was just not working out with Brent and Graham in Rwanda. We have no information as to if they will try on the sunset drive or not.

Jamie says they are still attempting to get signal and she plans on being in Final Control watching as soon as she finishes up here shortly.
