4 of the 5 Nkahuma pride. All 5 were there but one is off to the right and not shown in this pic

Djuma's Queen Karula. Female Leopard 12 years old. She gracefully envelopes the branch.

Southern Ground Hornbill. Currently there are only approximately 400 breeding pairs left. This breed is considered to be very vulnerable to being close to extinction

Karula

Bronze Winged Courser

Can you find her?

Female lioness. One of the Nkahuma Pride

Karula looking as magestic as ever. For those who like to identify particular leopards, Karula has a 3-4 spot pattern.

This tree makes the most excellent scratching post

Young spotted Hyena

I have my eye on you.

Thinking about making the tall reach to get some leaves to munch on

Karula having a snooze

Karula watching a drive vehicle drive by and appears to be quite bored

Karula before she decided to take a much needed nap in a nearby tree had the nerve to turn her back on me.

Our first glimpse of Karula today as she is so cleverly camoflaged in the greenery and dappled sunlight

Karula enveloping the branch with ease

2 of the 5 Nkahuma Pride

Ostriches -Male (on the left) and female (on the right)

Nightjar

And now we see the 5 of the Nkahuma Pride

Did you hear something? I thought I heard something.

Hmmm.   Perhaps cubs will be on the way for this fine lioness. Notice the belly swelling? Don't think this is from a good meal.

Wildebeest

Can never have enough pics of Karula

Red Crested Korhaan

I am just so comfy right now

Very young Steenbok

Hey little guy. Where ya goin?
