Good Afternoon everybody says James.
In the tent for the fist time with Wiam assisting on Camera.
Stefan will be out on Bush Walk today
Jamie is out on a vehicle.
James starts off the sunrise safari with dawing us a map of Africa.
He shows us the very first park which was highlighted in the movie "Out Of Africa" starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford.
James highly recommends this movie.
James Draws Africa
Heading over to Stefan now who has Dave on camera
He is just behind Galigo camp.
He has a branch in his hands and will be whittling away on it throughout the drive to make himself a walking stick. James and Brent have one so he thinks he should have one as well.
They call them swagger sticks.
Stefan climbs on top of a very substantial Termite mound and from this height he shows us the fastness that awaits.
Vast Area for The Wild Animals
Back over to James in the tent.
James has a large Vulture Feather to show us.

Over to Jamie and Jeandre with her on camera.
Jeandre is experimenting with a new camera so if things look a bit strange now and again, it is because they are testing new equipment.
We see some Elephants at the Djuma Waterhole that we watch regularly on the Djuma Cam.
The Waterhole is having water pumped into it today so the Elephants are happy to be able to get clear water.

We also get to see a snake skin fluttering in the breeze and a snake preserved in a jar
The other feeds (stefan and Jamie ) are down right now and James says "they are really down" so he says we are stuck with him.
James steps outside and gathers his white board and markers but then spots a harrier hawk.

Mattie's brother asks if we have any Scorpions. Matties was a little boy who was a viewer for a long time and has passed away. He loved Scorpions and Scott Dyson (previous Guide) loved them with him.
James has 2 scorpions to show us
Back over to Jamie.
They seem to have their Gremlins sorted out. Jeandre has pinned Jamie's microphone to her hair.
On this mornings drive (not live as they were in rehearsals) they saw 2 of the Birmingham Boys with a Nkahuma Female. The one was following the female almost like a guard if the female was going into eastrist (heat). She was either very pregnant or very full but had suckle marks.
Jamie thinks her hormones from the pregnancy or her birth was cause the Male Lion some confusion.
We see an obviously pregnant Zebra who looks like she will be giving birth in the next few weeks if not the next few days.
The Zebra appears to have a sandy brown colour on her due to rolling in the dirt or having dust sprayed up where she was.
Oxpeckers working hard to remove ticks from the Zebra
(very Block Signal with lots of interference)
Dwarf Mongoose starting to head home for the evening (blocky signal- cannot get pics)
Jamie has not had to move away from the Djuma Waterhole as the animals have all come to drink.
Ellies are back to kick a few more times at the water pipe.
A Giraffe playing Peek A Boo in the trees while it tries to decide if it wants to mingle with the Elephants while getting a drink.
Lots of Ox peckers on this giraffe
Over to James
SURPRISE!!!
SURPRIZE!!
We have a ROVER!
We Have A Rover
James wants to take it immediately down to the waterhole to try it out with the animals that are there.
James takes a few minutes to outline the various Tortoises that are found in this area and their differences.

With James Hendry
And lets pop over to Jamie
Jamie is driving trying to figure out where the Lions have gone.
As Jamie is driving, she discusses the upcoming television live show that will be happening this weekend for viewers in the United States.
(All Internet viewers will be watching these drives live so we wont miss anything.)

Stefan was feeling left out because James and Brent both have sticks so Stefan has made his own.
Hubert is out as security and tracking with Stefan.
This next pic shows a vehicle with an empty trailer which means that "WENDY" our other vehicle has just been returned after being repaired and should be back out on drives shortly.
Over to James who gives us the anatomy of a feather.

Jamie is driving over to the Hyena Den.
Back over with Stefan
Stefan is saying how careful one has to be while out walking in the bush.
But right back to Jamie who has arrived at the Hyena Den.
It is barren.
The lower ranking female Hyena that was here appears not to be here now. They is not unusual as Hyenas can not stay at the den all of the time.
Over to James who is loving this Rover
James Playing With The Rover
Over to Stefan who had a Red Billed Ox pecker who immediately flew off.
The ox pecker is using fur from the animals it picks up to build its nest and it definitely has a nest in this tree. Stefan thinks it is sitting on eggs right now but we will keep an eye on it.
Back over to James
This is his favourite time of the evening. The sun is setting and the birds are all settling in.
We switch feeds thanks to our amazing zoomies to the Djuma Dam Cam to view a Hippo out of the water and a couple of Nyala Bulls.
