We are greeted this morning by Brent who has Bryan with him on camera.
We are with Hosana (Male Leopard Cub) and Xongile (Female Leopard Cub) but they are on the opposite side of the drainage area and very well hidden in the foliage. They are chasing each other and playing.
Jamie is out on the other vehicle with Dave on camera.
James will be out on bush walk as soon as they get a few technical issues with the walk back pack ironed out.
With Jamie and a beautiful view of the horizon and a large Giraffe. We are overlooking Sydneys Dam.
Giraffe Stops For A Drink
We swing over to Brent who all of a sudden says "THERE IS KARULA".
She walked right past Bryan at the back of the vehicle.
She calls the cubs and both show up and have huge hugs for Mom.
Karula Arrives And Gets Hugs From Both Cubs
Brent is relocating so we go over with Jamie
Jamie is considering going to Cheetah Plains this morning.
James is out on Bush walk and has Jeandre with him on camera
James scratches with his stick in the dusty earth and tells us that there are tons of tiny grass seeds mixed in this dust just waiting for rain so that they may grow.
Herbert is on security detail this morning with James.
Herbert's Aunt is a Songoma (Traditional Healer/ herbalist)
Over to Brent who is telling us that Karula took off quickly with both Cubs.
Hyena's were poking around as well which is a large threat to the cubs. Hyena's could have followed Karula's scent hoping she has a kill nearby which is usual behaviour for Hyenas.
Brent is trying to find her and the cubs.
The cubs are already at an age to watch and listen for Hyena's and would quickly climb a tree to get out of the way.
Brent loses signal so we head back to Jamie.
Jamie sees a Hippo but he is behind a tree so we really cannot see him. He is standing very still.
Over to James on Bush Walk and we see a Red Buffalo Thorn Tree. The inner bark tastes very sweet. It is red due to the tannins.

With Brent who is working on the assumption that Karula has a kill. If he cannot find her, then he will backtrack.
Taxon has tracks of Karula with both Cubs crossing over Brent's tracks.
With James now who has a cockroach which has armour plating.
Jeandre wants to call the Cockroach "James The Cockroach".
Cockroach has now been named "James The Cockroach"
Jamie is sitting with the teeny Nkahuma Cubs and their Mom. There are 3 cubs.
They are all but obscured from view.
Nkahuma Lion Cubs With Their Mom
Jamie is awwwweeee . Look at that little foot and those little claws. So sweet.
With James who has a moving Pupa in his hand. Hubert said it will hatch soon and will be a wasp.
Back to Jamie with the Lion Cubs. Unfortunately the view is quite obscured but Jamie gives out a great deal of information regarding viewing these cubs at such an early age.

He has a Leopard Tortoise who is in trouble. He has been trampled by Impala. James thinks his leg is broken. James found him laying on his back.
Back with Brent and the Lions.
With James and Herbert has taken twigs and bark strips and created a door. James places it on the entrance of where the Tortoise was and places him inside and hopefully he will recover.
Hubert Makes A Model Of A Door
Back with Brent and all Lions are fast asleep.
Jamie has made her way East and is on Cheetah Plains now.
Jamie will be checking the waterholes first and hoping there might be a Leopard there as was what happened the last time Jamie took us to Cheetah Plains. It was Quarantine. We look and he isn't in the spot where we last saw him.
The Pans seem very quiet. Not even a bird around.
With James who shows us a Blue Waxbill nest and he has a wonderful story that Herbert told him about the Waxbills.
Blue Waxbills Leave An Egg- Story Told To James From Hubert
James shows us a Wolf Spider who attacks his stick and then hurries off. James also picks up an exoskeleton of an Olive Scorpion.

Over to Brent with our sleeping Lions.
Over to Jamie who shows us a Tawny Eagle sitting near the water.
Over with James who has some engorged Ticks. Fell off of Buffalo.
Hubert shows James a Super Tiny Scorpion. Including it's tail it would be about 1 cm in length.
With Brent who confirms that 3 of the Nkahuma Females have suckle marks. We have seen 2 sets of cubs so that means there is still more cubs that we have yet to discover.
Brent has left the Lions now.
Oh! A purple Roller
