We have a slightly delayed start due to some technical chaos Jamie says as she says Good Afternoon. Dave will be on Camera.
James Hendry will be driving Rusty and has has Bryan on camera with him this afternoon.
It is gusty as there appears to be a cold front moving in.

James stops for some Elephants
Showing Respect to Elephant Behaviour
James doesn't think Karula is close by. We see a Vervet Monkey sitting on the top of a tree.

With Jamie and a young Kudu who is nervous with the wind and is staying well hidden.
He has a nice set of horns.
Jamie arrives at Sydney's Dam and seems devoid of Mammal Life.
Hello James. See anything down there?
This particular Elephant is missing a tusk. Must have had it knocked off somewhere. Since it is a tooth, it would have been painful when it broke off. It has nerves in it just like any tooth.
Good Morning Benjamin Button
Can Someone Give Me A Little Push |
Over to Jamie who found some Nkhuma Females strolling down the road.
Nkahuma's Strolling Down The Road
Buffalo ahead and the Nkahuma are stalking! Now Running! The Chase is ON!
The Chase Is On- Will It be The Buffs or The Lions Who Prevail
Over to James who is with a pair of Egyptian geese in what is a fast drying up Buffleshoek dam.
Notice how high the walls are surrounding this dam and how shallow the water is. There is a Hippo in there but it is finding it difficult to find enough water to keep itself protected from the sun.
Two Elephants browsing. a few more in the background
James is moving on

James is heading to get ready for the fireside Chat
Jamie is at the Hyena Den and all is quiet. Perhaps Gwen has moved her cubs to the main clan although the den still smells like it is active. A nice smell of wet dog and rotting meat.
Efram has closed he lion cub sighting as it is getting dark and the moms will be going out to hunt and the cubs must be left alone. UPDATE- There are now 6 little Nkahuma Cubs, not just 3.
This concludes our Sunset Safari.
Check My Blog For Fire Side Chat Video from this evening.
