Sunrise Safari- July 10, 2016

Sunrise Safari- July 10, 2016

Brent is our guide this morning and he has Bryan with him on camera.
Jamie is also out this morning and has Jeandre with her on camera.

It is quite chilly this morning.

Brent is going to go do a check where Karula had her kill but other guides had reported to him that they had been there and that Hyena's had stolen her kill.

Jamie says good morning and she is driving the Mahindra. James broke Wendy (vehicle yesterday).  Jamie has been to the Hyena den and all is quiet there.

Jamie explains that the vehicles are used more often then just the 3 hours twice a day that we see live. They are used to tracking, transportation and the roads are not the most conducive to constant use.  They are also quite old vehicles.  Repairs are being done.

Brent has reports of a Leopard but he has to drive fast before it crosses out of our traverse area. So it is another Ferrari Safari for us.
We pop over to Jamie while Brent drives super fast.

Right back to Brent and we get a few seconds partially obscured visual of Thandi (Karula's Daughter) See my Leopard Page for More information about Thandi.

Thandi is heading into Torch Wood which is not in our traverse area.

There is one of the Birmingham Boys (Male Lions) but he gets up and starts slowly making his way into the block. Scent marking as he goes

Back over to Brent while Jamie attempts to relocate the Birmingham Male.

Brent is heading towards Cheetah Plains hoping to find Quarantine or some Cheetah.
